Privacy Policy for MorseFlash

Last updated: May 31, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how MorseFlash (“the app,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use it. MorseFlash is a free utility that transmits Morse code using your device’s flashlight (torch) and receives Morse light signals using your device’s camera.

Information We Collect

We do not require an account and do not directly collect personal information such as your name, email address, or contacts.

Camera. When you use the receive feature, the app accesses your camera to detect light signals in real time. Camera frames are processed on your device only. We do not store, save, upload, or transmit any images or video.

Flashlight (torch). The transmit feature controls your device’s flashlight. This involves no data collection.

Advertising data (via Google AdMob). The app displays banner ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may collect and process information such as device identifiers (including the Advertising Identifier / IDFA if you grant permission), IP address, general device information, and ad interaction data. This collection is performed by Google, not by us. See Google’s policies linked below.

App Tracking Transparency

On first launch, iOS may ask whether you allow the app to track you across apps and websites. If you allow tracking, AdMob may show personalized ads. If you decline, AdMob still shows ads, but they are non-personalized. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

How Information Is Used

Information collected by our advertising partner is used to display ads, measure ad performance, and support the continued development of this free app.
